Yet another cold morning and yet another good turnout today. We had a team planting trees, mainly hazels, and they managed to plant about 20. We continued chipping paths with what chippings we had left, we managed to cut up and remove three trees that had fallen across the ditch and we continued path edging along the path near the pond.
With coffee today we had a choice of iced fruit cake from Paul or chocolate cake from Carol, a tough choice but we thrive on tough choices :-)
David suggested we worked in Foxburrow Wood next week, removing brambles and bracken from the bluebell patch, he also mentioned that there would be a committee meeting on Monday Feb 15th.
Barry gave us an update on the Burial Park, 50 trees out of the 6,500 have failed and will be replaced in March, at the same time more trees will be planted along the edge bordering Hubbards Loke.
