A sunny frosty morning and 26 of us were out working today. We had a team using the old chippings by the main gate as mulch around newly planted trees, the area around the main gate was tidied up, a few of the men were scrapping mud off the main path getting it ready for resurfacing in March, a few were repairing the fence around the pond which had several holes in it big enough for a dog to get through, some logs laying around on the main path down towards PwH were carried up and used as edging, the bluebell area was tidied up of loose logs, some of the ladies were putting more plants in the B&B area and the area at the back of the nursery was tidied up.
With coffee today we had a nice choice cakes from Colin G for his birthday, we should have had them last Thursday but rain stopped play !
A photo of an otter was passed around, the photo was taken in one of the member's garden on Monday night, in the Crome Walk area. Those with fish ponds in the area, beware !
John reminded everyone about the footpath from PwH entrance to the old railway bridge being closed till Sunday as Waveney Norse were tidying it up ! Barry told everyone about the work the Burial Park had been doing this week along Hubbard's Loke.
