A sunny and cold morning but several people turned up today. Several jobs were done - chipping paths with what little chippings we had left - the path edging work along the main path continued - in the B&B area some wildflower seeds were scattered and some yellow rattle was planted to try and help keep the grass down, also some old chippings were used as mulch around the new plantings - pulling up alexanders - and a large oak tree was planted beyond the pond in memory of Kathleen Clarke.
With coffee today we had a lovely selection of homemade cakes, chocolate sponge cake, lemon drizzle cake and guiness fruit cake !! Happy birthday Carol, the cakes were delicious.
David mentioned we had some tressles to get rid of which would go to the dump if no one wanted them.
