A lovely morning but we started with the news that many of the trees in the burial park had been vandalised and would need restaking and possibly new guards put round. Half our team headed off to Foxburrow Woods to clear the paths and the rest of us headed over to the burial park to set about repairing the damage that had been done over the last two evenings. After sorting out the burial park some headed to the nursery to tidy up and weed it.
With coffee today we had a lovely selection of cakes and scones with cream and strawberries to celebrate MY birthday back in June!
David gave us final details for our day out next Tuesday and updates on the progress being made on the Foxburrow paths work and also the Bingo Fish & Chips night and next years group holiday.
He also mentioned about the vandalism in the burial park which Barry thought about 100 trees had been damaged.
