A cold sunny morning and a good number turned out which is fortunate because there was a lot to do today. We had holly plants to put in to try to shield a large habit, we had a large table/seat to repair and replace, we did the final cut of the meadow, fencing to repair around the "secret garden", the pond dipping platform had to be cleaned and coated with preservative, we continued chipping paths, the main gate needed a minor repair and finally there was clearing leaves off the main path - this was made a lot easier with the use of Barry's leafblower!
With coffee today we had a lovely selection of cakes from Ken for his birthday.
David announced that Saturday's work had changed and we would not now be working in Foxburrow but working in Gunton Wood taking down trees along the main path on the way down to Pleasurewood Hills. He also reminded us of the litter pick on Saturday Nov 12th.
