Not a great number out again this week, many are on their holidays. However, there were plenty of jobs to do, we treated the dipping platform with preservative which should help prolong it's life. Work continued in the B&B area, pulling up doc weeds and there are many of them to remove. Clearing nettles etc from path edges and clearing around young trees. We started painting the seats with preservative, this will continue. Strimming the weeds/grass in Gunton Church Lane , just outside the wood & church. The round log seating that had been upended was put back in place. David checked on the Himalayan Balsam in the ditch at the bottom of Moore's Lane. Thankfully, he reported last year's efforts were a success and we are now on top of it.
With coffee today we had lovely cakes and beef pasties from Ken.
David thanked Ken for the cakes and pasties before going on to list the work that had been achieved today.
