A full coach of 55 passengers set off from Gunton Church Lane well on time for our trip to Bury.
We arrived on time for our allocated slot of 11.30 am. We were advised that the coach would leave at 4.30 pm sharp and we had to be at the dispatch point at 4.15 pm.
The weather was kind to us once again sunny on our journey over but cloudy in Bury, but with the light wind it seemed very cold.
We then set off in our own groups to enjoy the delights of the Fayre.
There were plenty of stalls in all locations throughout the Town.
Food outlets were plentiful as were the craft stalls and seasonal events.
Both the Cathedral and St Mary’s Church had Carol concerts with teas and mince pies available.
There was also the weekly market in the town center.
The only down side was that there were so many people that it was extremely difficult to walk around and browse the stalls.
Our thanks to Rosemary for her organisation and our coach driver Ken.
