Today some of us were chipping paths, some coppicing elder trees, some splitting the snowdrops & replanting a few along the side of the main path, others pulling up Alexanders and sycamore seedlings and a few were clearing the railway path ready for the work on Saturday.
An assessment was made of the seat in the picnic area, the legs had rotted through. Three large logs were placed there ready for the repair work next Thursday.
It was Moira's birthday today and she brought us hot sausage rolls and cheesy swirls to go with our coffee - lovely!
This Saturday, April 5th, the plan is to put in the steps down from the railway bridge at Pleasurewood Hills, meet there at 9am work till midday, stout footwear required, coffee provided.
