Lovely morning this morning and while we were assembling at the shed, David pointed out the low humming of the bees in the tree tops. Once again we were clearing weeds from around young trees, clearing path edges of weeds, clearing around the pond, we had a gang replacing the bridge between the main path and the field, and a few of us went down to the culvert at the end of Gainsborough Drive to remove any Himalayan Balsam before it flowers and seeds.
With coffee today we had a lovely selection of cakes and fancies provided by Betty for her birthday.
Saturday work is postponed at the moment.
