Another good turn out and another fine morning, getting quite used to this. We had a large gang shifting, sorting out and tidying up habitats. The planting of daffs in the wild flower meadow was completed and further tidying up was being done at the main entrance, mainly cutting down some dead trees (elm, scyamore) in the church wood that were leaning dangerously into what will soon be the burial park.
We had a visit from Brian Thornton, from Anglia In Bloom, to see how we were doing as we had won top award last year.
Today with coffee we had, a phone call from Barbara to see how we were all doing. Of course we all took the opportunity to shout "Coffeeeeeee" done the phone to her.
A lovely selection of homemade cakes today courtesy of Honey (Carol's dog) who has been with her one year today - how does Honey do it!
