This morning 4 GWCP members met with Robert Slarke from Waveney Norse for our annual tree inspection. We walked through St. Peter's churchyard, Gunton Wood, Foxburrow Wood and the green space inbetween.
An interesting 3 hour walk. Robert did say that this year had been a bad year for trees in general and for Gunton Wood it proved true, yet again. We have a lot of work to be done in Gunton Wood, removing or reducing trees. Fortunately, very little was needed for Foxburrow Wood or the green space inbetween. As for the the churchyard, we have promised to tidy up the overhanging branches one Saturday morning as payment for the hire of the annexe.
