A rather warm and humid morning and lots of people came out to play today and lots of jobs to do !! A group continued painting the fence around the nursery, a small group continued changing the spiral tubes around the new trees near Lime Avenue for Tubex tubes with stakes and ties, the broken railings were tidied up and used as path edging, the large branch on Moore's lane was tidied up and used for fixing a gap in the fence around the pond, there was more planting going on in the B&B area, the wild rose garden at the back of the nursery was tidied up and weeded, a very large branch that had come down in the storm a few weeks ago was cut up and used as path edging, some were clearing path edges and around the main gate and some worked in the Burial Park.
With coffee we had a lovely selection of homemade cakes from Me whose birthday it was last Wednesday, we also had a delicious chocolate cake from June who's 90th birthday was last Thursday while most of us were at Framlingham. Congratulations June, here's to the next 90 !!
