Today was mainly about chipping Moore's Lane, we had a large turnout today with about a dozen of us chipping - many hands make idle chat! Others were coppicing elders, clearing out the pond and moving logs that Waveney Norse had left from their work on Monday.
With coffee this week we had a selection of cakes brought by Eileen on behalf of her husband Dennis whose birthday it was last week.
Yesterday, Wednesday, some of the gang were removing a dangerous oak tree from the green space near Degas Close. This had been reported to Waveney Norse by a member of the public, WN then asked if GWCP could remove the tree on their behalf.
