Wet and breezy today, so not surprisingly there were not many of us out, just 12. This included young Alyssa (4), Christine's grandaughter, who brought her own barrow and spade! We decided to go ahead as it wasn't raining, most headed down to Pleasurewood Hills and cleared the ditch, the bank had collapsed and blocked the ditch near the bridge into the bottom of the field after that they then cleared the path alongside PwH as it was starting to get overgrown, on the way back a Tesco trolley was retrieved from the ditch, taken to the main gate and left for Tesco to collect. The others spread chippings around the new seats that have recently been installed.
With coffee today we had a lovely selection of cookies, scones and sausage rolls from Christine for her birthday, plenty to go round as so few of us were out, almost more dogs than people!
David said he would not be here next week but work would go on as usual. He also mentioned that working in Foxburrow would be postponed from Aug 25th to a later date, probably Sept 8th.
